“Mr. Stark, I hope you have a good reason for waking me up.” Dr. Banner half teased with sleep filled eyes.
“Night terror needed a friend.”Tony stated sighing a bit smiling softly at his friend.
Bruce offered him a kind smile and grabbed his hand, pulling him into her living quarters. “You can…sit anywhere.” she said as she let him go and used her, now free, hands to twist her hair into a bun. “Do you want to talk about it or just sit?” Bruce honestly never knew what to expect when it came to these sorts of situations, so she simply situated herself at the foot of her bed awaiting what would follow.

Dr. Banner looked up from her collection of test tubes, safety goggles covering half of her petite face, as a guest entered her lab. “What can I do for you?”

“Running them into the ground, yes. That is my very point.”
“Isn’t that what you want? Why not just watch from afar instead of meddling in things that don’t concern you.”

“Mr. Stark, I hope you have a good reason for waking me up.” Dr. Banner half teased with sleep filled eyes.

Tony spares his guest the briefest of glances up before returning to his work, staring intently at the half finished boot before him. “Need something?”
“Always.” Banner responded, walking further into the lab and leaning against one of the benches. “Did you adjust the calibration on you repulsion beam?”

“How kind of you. I payed Reed a visit not long ago to discuss business and I can see you are just as fond of him as I have been made aware.”
“Oh, totally. Reed is the best brother-in-law I could have wished for. Science-nerd, coach-potato, what else do you want?”
“Yes he sounds like the perfect man, always there when you want him to be and even when you don’t.”

“Oh, it is not from me that it shall need saving, but from yourselves…you are a scientist, are you not? You know it is only a matter of time before something happens that will cause all the petty mortals on this rock to scatter, to fight for every last scrap of what they desire in their greed.”
“Do you think I need your lecture, Loki? I’d like to there there are still good people out there, but we don’t need saving. That’s something you ‘gods’ don’t understand, we’re capable of running our own lives.”

“Privileged, I’d prefer.” He replied, following her lead with a calm walk. “Is there a time to stop charming? That’s when a relationship looses it’s passion.”
“You’re the one that wanted me here, perhaps you should feel privileged.” she teased uncharacteristically as they walked down continuous hallways. Bruce had been able to open up, in a sense, to Tony more than she had with many others since her accident. “Passion? Hmm, is that what this is?”

“Good evening. I’m Dr. Banner, is there something I can do for you?”

“I hardly feel qualified enough to tell you how to charm a woman; in fact if you’re too subtle I may not even notice you’re doing it.”
“Spending the day with Tony Stark, every woman’s dream. I would love the extra set of eyes.”
“Oh? Well maybe I just can’t turn it off when I’m around certain people.”
“Then extra eyes you shall receive, milady. Lead the way.”
“Should I feel special, Tony?” she asked as motioned for him to follow her. “Why do you want to charm me anyway? I don’t really need it if I’m already here.”
